APPLICATION RULES FOR THE 2022 NUFARM GRASSMANSHIP SCHOLARSHIP

The Nufarm Grassmanship Scholarship, offered by Nufarm Americas Inc. (Nufarm), was created to provide to help individuals with a passion for agricultural or pasture management excel academically and civically. In order to apply for this scholarship, a candidate must: 1. Be a U.S. citizen. 2. Be planning to enroll or already enrolled full-time for Fall 2022 at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. (Scholarships are for undergraduate study only.) 3. Have a high school (for current high school seniors) or college (for current undergraduate students) a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better (on a 4.0 scale). 4. Be planning to major or already majoring in an agriculture-related field of study. 5. Submit a complete application by March 31, 2022.

Up to five scholarships will be awarded to five unique, eligible applicants: one $5,000 scholarship and four $1,000 scholarships. Nufarm will select the scholarship recipients based on the overall strength of their application, application essays, and finalist interview. Not all applicants for the scholarships will be selected as recipients. Nufarm will notify scholarship recipients of its decision on or about May 2, 2022. Nufarm retains the right to withhold scholarship grants if no candidate is determined to be qualified or if a recipient no longer meets the eligibility requirements. All applicants agree to accept Nufarm’s decisions as final.

Scholarship payments will be made in August, after the selected recipients notify Nufarm about the college or university (s)he will be attending and Nufarm validates the recipient’s enrollment. All scholarship checks will be made payable the designated college or university on the student’s behalf in a single payment and will only be applied towards tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment required for the classes.

Employees of Nufarm and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, Nufarm Parties) and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are ineligible to win a scholarship.

Acceptance of a scholarship constitutes permission to the Nufarm Parties to use students’ name, likeness, biographical information and essay and/or interview excerpts for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. All federal and state laws apply.

Nufarm Parties will not be responsible for: late, incomplete, or incorrect applications; an applicant’s failure to receive notices or for applicant’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; or any technical, hardware, software or network issues. If, in Nufarm’s opinion, there is suspected evidence of cheating or tampering with any portion of the scholarship program or application that compromise the fairness of the scholarship program, Nufarm reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, cancel or modify the scholarship program or reject applications in a manner deemed appropriate by Nufarm.

Applicants under the age of 18 at the time of acceptance must have a parent or guardian agree to these scholarship application rules. An agreement form will be provided.
